"Before working out with Karon, I consistently struggled with injuries. I thought I had a decent idea of what I was doing in the gym, but I couldn't shake lower back pain and I oscillated between going hard in the gym and losing motivation. Karon has really helped me work through those issues by not only prescribing movements to help me get past my injuries, but he's really big on teaching and he has helped me learn about proper movement & how my body works. Even though I saw progress quickly, I took some steps backwards in my learning journey and Karon has been with me every step of the way.
Karon helped me discover how, over the years, I had taught myself inadvertently to pull my lower back into movements in order to push more weight and get more support. I was pulling my lower back into exercises that had no business involving my lower back, and that was really the crux of why my issues kept reoccurring.
